We had two Thanksgivings this year. The Rose/Elgard side of the family did their Thanksgiving a little early. There was a huge turnout (25 people) and it was such a beautiful day, we were able to head to the park and play a little kickball. We then went to my side of the family for Thanksgiving day and Gavin was the highlight of the evening. What a little showoff he was!
We headed out to a tree farm in Wisconsin with my family to cut down our first family Chritmas tree. We decorated our tall and skinny tree and added a few LED lights.....lets just say the added brightness of the lights can be seen for miles! The Elgard fam then decided to take a trip out to Colorado earlier this month to see the newest addition to the family - Graeden Joshua. What a doll he is! Gav did fantastic on his first plane ride and was pretty much his typical go with the flow kinda guy. How luck are we?! We did a lot of hanging out with the family, playing with the kids, and having a rather competitive game of 4 square in the basement. We did hit up a few of the local tourist attractions including the Coors brewery and yes we brought ALL of the kids.
After all of that, I planned and threw a baby shower for a girlfriend and we had one of many Christmases this past weekend at Dan and Brendas. Another huge turnout! What a whirlwind past couple of months!
Here's a few pics to check out from Thanksgiving, our travels, and recent weeks. For now I gotta run....Vikes are on! Merry Christmas!
